The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Facilities Assistant at Lochgelly Centre. You will be part of the team undertaking duties relating to the operation of buildings and surrounding grounds, ensuring customer care of patrons visiting the venue. You will contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of events and assist other venue staff where required. The role is temporary working 10 hours per week, where assignments will be offered to meet the needs of the business, and this will include weekend and evening work.
About You
You’ll have previous experience working to processes and procedures and knowledge to ensure the safety of customers visiting the building. You will be a team player who will be energetic, enthusiastic and have a positive and flexible ‘can do’ attitude. You’ll take pride in contributing to a welcoming environment, meeting needs of our corporate clients and community members alike, setting up rooms for activities and events, following good housekeeping standards which can be physically demanding, and provide a professional and courteous service to visitors. An awareness of compliance and health and safety issues would be desirable. You will have an understanding of IT systems and be familiar with technology utilised in corporate meetings.
