This role is based at Lochgelly Centre and supports the Venue Manager in the effective delivery of customer and visitor services within the venue. This is a full-time post with days and hours that may flex to meet business needs, including weekend and evening working.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Venue Manager in the effective delivery of customer and visitor services within Lochgelly Centre.
- Promote all services within Lochgelly Centre and act as a front-facing representative.
- Contribute to people management for the venue team and support administrative, budgetary and financial tasks.
- Ensure working and public areas are kept safe and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
- Work as a member of the Operations Management team to maintain and improve customer experience across OnFife.
- Flexible working arrangements to support business needs, including weekend and evening shifts.
About You / Qualifications
- Approachable people manager with a customer service mindset and a passion for providing excellent customer service and visitor experience.
- Ability to engage with the community and stakeholders to keep Lochgelly Centre welcoming and relevant.
- Positive, inclusive, and collaborative team player with awareness of Health & Safety and workplace compliance.
- Understanding of cash handling and administration.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to plan through results tracking and strategic thinking; able to assist with reporting and record keeping.
