The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cultural Services Assistant to join our team within Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries. The post is for 18 hours and is fixed term for 6 months. You will have a basic work pattern however your days of working will flex to meet the business needs when required and will include weekend working.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors in libraries, reading room, museum, galleries and shop.
- Provide a welcoming and helpful experience for all visitors.
- Support daily operations and assist with visitor inquiries.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving customer service.
About You
We are looking for someone who puts the customer first, strives to provide an excellent experience to customers and visitors and has a can‑do attitude. We want you to have a flexible attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to changing work demands. Flexibility will be required, and access to transport is necessary, as there may be travel throughout the region.
