Job Title: Learning Support Teacher

We are looking for a highly skilled teacher who is passionate about improving life chances for all to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people. As a Learning Support Teacher in Fife, you will work with school-based staff, the school leadership team, and a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that pupils are fully included in their school community. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing short-term focused support
2. Collaborating with colleagues
3. Consulting with stakeholders

Qualification, Registration, and Skill Requirements

• High levels of interpersonal skills to support pupils and families effectively.
• Ability to contribute to and lead areas of school improvement.
• Commitment to professional learning and demonstrating how it impacts your practice.
• Full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) and adherence to the Professional Standards for teachers in Scotland.

Additional Requirement: Before confirming your appointment, you must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant PVG scheme.
