Thank you for your interest in the position of Social Work Assistant within Older People Social Work Service, part of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership. We serve a population of around 370,000 across the Kingdom of Fife, delivering a wide range of delegated health and social care services.
Our organisation is community-rooted and aims to improve outcomes through integrated health and social services, delivered by a talented workforce and collaborative partnerships with the Independent and Voluntary Sector. Being co-terminus with NHS Fife and Fife Council, we promote a whole system “Team Fife” approach.
We are committed to high performance, quality, person-centred care, and sustainable services. Due to recent investments, our Social Work Service is recruiting Social Work Assistants to enhance outcomes for service users in Fife.
The role focuses on undertaking carer assessments. This 36-hour post is based at Burgh Chambers, Buckhaven, involving travel to meet carers, understand their needs, and develop support plans that make a real difference. You will work independently and as part of a supportive team including registered social workers.

Additional Requirements
Before confirming your appointment, you will need to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant PVG scheme.
