Overview
Mobile Cleaner – 20 hours per week 40-week contract (Monday to Friday for back shift cleaning between 3:00pm to 8:00pm). Based at Leuchars Primary School covering here and in the surrounding area. We currently have a permanent vacancy covering as required Monday to Friday.
What you will do
You will ensure pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. This role involves general cleaning duties as part of a team or working independently. On the job training is provided and you will work towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
Benefits and pay

Salary: £24,740.74 pro rata. We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).

Travel expenses will be paid – 45 pence per mile for staff using their own car.

Requirements and timeframes

This work requires PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland; you will need to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership before confirming your appointment.

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
