We have a permanent vacancy for an Assistant Cook in Inverkeithing, Monday to Friday on a 38-week term time contract. This post will move to the newly built Caledonia High School, Rosyth in late 2026.
Location: Inverkeithing High School β 30 hours per week between 8:30am to 3:00pm as required β 38-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Duties within this school include preparation of food and beverages and the organisation of the service of food.
- Duties may include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround and equipment.
- Completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
- You will work to ensure pupils and staff are provided with meals throughout the school day during term time.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Β£24,740.74 pro-rata and Β£13.18 per hour, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).
