Job Details

We are looking for a highly skilled Clerical Assistant to provide front line clerical support in a primary or nursery school, acting as the focal point for staff and visitors. You will be responsible for responding to changes in procedures and IT systems and for ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the school office. As a Clerical Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Headteacher or Admin Assistant/Coordinator.

Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements

You are required to have a minimum of 4 qualifications at SCQF level 4, including English and Maths (e.g. National 4, Standard Grades at General Level or O Grades). Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
