To undertake Handyperson / Driver duties as deemed appropriate and to carry out safety and equipment checks and general maintenance.
Undertake vehicle checks ensuring all Health and Safety legal requirements are met.
Carry out building and equipment inspections as instructed and record building compliance checks, including asbestos register, hardwire electrical, electrical PAT testing, water checks, and fire safety checks. Periodically check the lighting system within the properties.
Operate in a handyperson capacity, providing services including portage, compliance checks, minor repairs, and maintenance of buildings, fixtures, furnishings, and general maintenance of internal and external areas, including garden maintenance.
Uniform will be supplied.
- Auto-enrolment onto the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
- 32 annual leave days, rising to 37 days after 5 years.

The Person
The candidate must have a clean driving licence and the ability to undertake MiDAS training.
Should have experience working as part of a team as well as lone working and possess good communication skills.
Must have basic computer skills.
Experience and knowledge of basic DIY skills are required.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
