We are looking for a highly skilled Admin Assistant to provide front line administrative support in a primary school, acting as the focal point for staff and visitors. You will be responsible for financial and devolved school management issues, responding to changes in IT systems, and supervising and developing Clerical Assistant(s). Your role is essential to the effective day‑to‑day running of the school office.
As an Admin Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Headteacher or Admin Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Provide front line administrative support and serve as the focal point for staff and visitors.
- Manage financial and devolved school management issues.
- Respond to changes in IT systems.
- Supervise and develop Clerical Assistant(s).
- Ensure effective day‑to‑day running of the school office.
Educated to SCQF Level 7, which includes HNC or Advanced Highers or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience.
Security ClearanceBefore confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
