Why not join one of our many teams within schools in the East of Fife area? We have a permanent vacancy to supervise the team of Cleaners in:
- Burntisland Primary School – 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 3:00pm and 7:00pm, on a 40-week term-time contract.
- Dunnikier Primary School – 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 3:00pm and 8:00pm, on a 40-week term-time contract.
Salary and Benefits
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 to £22,885.80 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- £13.79 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is annualised with equal instalments every 4-week pay period.

Role, Responsibilities and Qualifications
This role is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pupils and staff.
- Supervise the team of cleaners, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards.
- Attend induction training before starting in post.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold The Cleaning Operatives Efficiency Certificate or equivalent.
- Supervisory experience with a Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate or BICs Certificate preferred.
- Obtained Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
