We currently have two permanent vacancies covering as required Monday to Friday:
- Aberhill Primary School – 20 hours per week 40-week contract, Monday to Friday as required between 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
- Aberhill Primary School – 17.5 hours per week 40-week contract, Monday to Friday as required between 3:00pm to 6:30pm.
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is annualised for 40 week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).
- Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
