Responsibilities
- Preparation of food and beverages and organisation of the service of food.
- Baking, cooking, serving meals, loading hot trollies and delivering them to and from the unitβs general kitchen and dining room duties.
- Washing up, clearing away equipment, completion of daybook record, stock taking.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
- City and Guilds 706 1 or 2 or equivalent.
- Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
- Cooking experience in a relevant environment (commercial kitchen).
- Elementary food Hygiene certificate.
- IT and literacy skills; organisational skills; able to work on your own or as part of a team; able to use own initiative.
Details
- Based at: Ostlers care home, 9 Wellinton Cres KY26GH.
- Work pattern: Rota 5 over 7.
- Hours per week: 30 hours + weekend enhancements.
- Pay: Β£13.18 an hour.
