An immediate requirement is available for a Senior Site Manager to provide job‑running leadership for a project delivery team on a key commercial newbuild project in the Bradford area, value c£5m, where the position will be to join a leading main contracting business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction and support of the operational delivery team.
- Liaise and manage sub‑contractors on site as required and report directly to the Senior Management team on daily performance, proactively addressing delivery issues as they arise.
- Deal with tough negotiations and the pressure of a fast‑pace environment.
- Ensure company HS&E and quality standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood, implemented and adhered to at all times.
- Manage quality control—ensuring high standards of quality are achieved and addressing any issues with sub‑contractors and trades.
- Client management and liaison.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record operating in a Senior Site Management position within the commercial build sector, ideally on commercial or industrial type projects.
- Strong process management.
- Hold CSCS black card certification.
- Hold valid SMSTS and First Aid certification.
- Strong IT and paperwork skills.
- Good communication skills.
