About the Role
As Fieldguide’s first Business Development Representative in EMEA, you’ll play a key role in our international expansion and help shape how we serve audit, assurance, and advisory firms across the region. You’ll focus on building pipeline, engaging prospective customers, and partnering closely with Account Executives to create meaningful opportunities. This is an opportunity to build a strong career foundation through training, mentorship, and direct exposure to experienced, high-performing representatives.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business and shape our growth - You’ll build and manage a strong sales pipeline through self-sourced outreach and close collaboration with Account Executives.
- Earn trust and spark interest - Engage new and existing leads through creative, personalized outreach that builds credibility and excitement for Fieldguide.
- Become a Fieldguide expert - Develop deep expertise in the Fieldguide platform, staying current on our product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Continuously improve and innovate - Learn the nuances of different service lines and buyer personas while helping refine our sales playbook.
- Coordinate effortless handoffs - Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure every demo call transition is smooth.
About You
- 1+ years of BDR, SDR, Account Management, or Account Executive experience.
- You’re intrinsically motivated to exceed goals, with proven ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets.
- You embody grit, curiosity, and emotional intelligence.
- You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and an exceptional communicator.
- Comfortable with cold calling, objection handling, and navigating challenging conversations.
Bonus Points
Accounting industry knowledge, including but not limited to assurance and advisory services, ideally with exposure to cybersecurity or regulatory standards.
