FieldGoods is a sustainable food company on a mission to reinvent frozen. Our recipes are all written by Elliot and every bit of food is handmade by a wonderful team of chefs, with real ingredients, frozen fresh. The mission is simple but ambitious — flip the script on frozen entirely, and make the freezer aisle what it should be: a more delicious, more nutritious, less wasteful alternative to chilled.

Until now, our marketing has been founder-led, brought to life by a fractional team and a handful of agencies. We're at an exciting inflection point: a brilliant product, a clear mission, nationwide independent distribution, and thriving direct-to-consumer sales. What we need now is to grow our marketing function and to level up execution and bring our mission to life in a way we haven't been able to before.

This role suits someone hungry to be part of something and who can see the potential for the brand, the business, and themselves. It's executional at its core, but comes with real autonomy and room to grow into the function as the team scales.

What you'll do

  • Digital Marketing
    • Own the content plan, and help develop new content to drive growth
    • Own and execute Klaviyo campaigns and flows, developing, testing and improving existing content
    • Continue to nurture our community through email
    • Run sign-up incentive A/B tests, challenging what exists to optimise the outcome
    • Attend weekly calls with our paid media agency and brief/develop ads weekly
    • Brief and/or produce marketing assets (photography, video, email/social graphics) in line with brand guidelines
  • Website & Subscriptions
    • Test, develop, and improve the website
    • Own thinking and execution on offers, subscription structure, and rewards/loyalty
    • General website maintenance and ongoing improvement
  • Influencers & PR
    • Manage weekly influencer outreach and gifting
    • Weekly check-ins with PR team, helping to plan campaigns and talking points
    • Drive events forward in collaboration with PR
  • Social Media
    • Help to run our social media alongside our content creator, working on strategy and delivery
    • Build organic, paid and collaborative growth
    • Develop a clear voice and brand story through socials
  • Reporting
    • Report on all aspects of coverage from social media growth & website conversion, to ad performance and PR reach.

We’re a scale up and it's all hands on deck! The ultimate goal here is to grow the business, sometimes that might require digital focus, other times that might mean rolling up your sleeves.

About you

  • You have hands-on experience with Shopify, Klaviyo and Canva
  • You think strategically and have confidence in your work
  • You have an always questioning mind with an appetite to succeed
  • You're comfortable owning execution end-to-end, not just strategy
  • You're equally happy briefing an agency as you are rolling up your sleeves yourself
  • You care about food, sustainability, and building something from the ground up
  • You're organised to juggle content, CRM, website, and influencer work without dropping balls

Experience

As a guide we would look for 4 - 7 years experience in a hands-on marketing role, ideally within DTC, ecommerce, or food & beverage. You should be confident running CRM and paid/organic social independently, and comfortable owning a Shopify site day-to-day. This is a role for someone who wants to build, not manage from a distance.

Progression & what's in it for you

This is FieldGoods' first in-house marketing hire — which means you'll be shaping the function as much as executing within it. As the business and team grow, so will this role: we see a clear path from Senior Marketing Manager into Head of Marketing and beyond, for the right person.
