The Vacancy

What can you expect?

The Real Estate transactional team deals with some of the UK\’s largest and most high-profile deals, acting for developers, investors, funders, and major occupiers across various sectors.

Our clients include leading developers in Lifesciences, House Building, and Logistics sectors, as well as international corporate occupiers in retail, financial services, and tech sectors.

We are keen to appoint an Associate to join our established Real Estate Transactional team.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold development assets
  • Managing assets including granting agreements for lease, leases, licenses, renewals, and rent reviews
  • Acting for occupiers on new leases and assignments
  • Supporting colleagues in corporate transactions on real estate due diligence
  • Assisting with large portfolio transactions and dealing with certificates of title
  • Maintaining high levels of client contact and liaison

Experience and Knowledge

  • Qualified solicitor with 0-3 years post-qualification experience in real estate transactions
  • Experience from a well-known real estate firm with at least one seat in real estate during traineeship
  • Relevant work experience and client management skills
  • Good knowledge of English Land Law and Landlord & Tenant law
  • Experience acting for developer clients and corporate occupiers
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with colleagues
