The role of IT Solutions Developer within the IT Development Team, which comprises developers, data engineers and document management system specialists. The role is responsible for designing, building, supporting and improving integrations and automation solutions across Fieldfisher's application estate. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across IT and the wider business to understand requirements, connect systems, streamline processes and deliver reliable, secure and maintainable solutions. The role will focus on integration platforms and automation tooling, including Intapp Integrate, Intapp Integration Services, commonly referred to as Boomi, and other relevant technologies used to support data flows, business processes and system interoperability.
Responsibilities
- Integration development: Design, build, test and support integrations between business systems using appropriate integration and cloud technologies.
- Automation delivery: Identify and deliver opportunities to automate manual or repetitive processes, improving efficiency, consistency and user experience.
- System connectivity: Work with APIs, data feeds, databases, file transfers and integration patterns to connect applications securely and reliably.
- End-to-end delivery: Take integrations and automation solutions from requirements gathering through to design, development, testing, release and support.
- Stakeholder engagement: Work with stakeholders across IT and the wider business to clarify requirements, understand business processes and propose practical technical approaches.
- Operational support: Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues with integrations and automations, including supporting business-critical services where required.
- Continuous improvement: Contribute to improving development standards, documentation, supportability and knowledge sharing across the team.
Key skills and experience
- Proven experience designing, building, testing and supporting integrations in a professional environment.
- Experience designing, building and supporting integrations and data flows between business systems using integration platforms, middleware or cloud integration technologies such as Intapp Integrate, Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services or comparable technologies.
- A good understanding of APIs, data mapping, error handling, logging, authentication, messaging and secure data transfer.
- Experience working with business applications, databases and structured data formats such as JSON, XML and SQL.
- Experience developing solutions using a programming language such as C#, Java, Python or similar.
- Experience with automation or workflow technologies such as Power Automate, Logic Apps, n8n or comparable platforms.
- A pragmatic and considered approach to delivery, particularly when priorities evolve or requirements are complex.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across multiple applications, databases and integration platforms.
- Experience working within an ITIL-aligned environment.

- Experience working in a legal, professional services or partnership environment.
- Experience with Intapp Integrate, including building, maintaining and troubleshooting integrations.
- Familiarity with other Intapp products and legal-sector platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management or related tooling.
- Experience with C#/.NET and PowerShell.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Dataverse, custom connectors or related technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise, including source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of data governance, information security and operational risk considerations.
- Experience documenting technical designs, support models and implementation plans.
