There is currently a vacancy for a post completions Paralegal to join our successful Real Estate Finance team. In this role you will be providing support in the post completion team in conjunction with assisting fee earners on Land Registry enquiries. Please note that there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be in the offices 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of a post completion team carrying out daily tasks including:
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications;
- Raising a variety of different queries with Land Registry on behalf of Fee Earners;
- Dealing with Land Registry requisitions;
- Sending completion of registrations to fee earners for approval and clients;
- Registering charges and debentures at Companies House;
- Adding OS1/OS2 expiry dates to a tracker and keeping an eye on OS1 expiry dates;
- Updating and maintaining a post completion tracker;
- Providing general administrative duties;
- Communicating with solicitors/lenders;
- Submitting deeds to lenders and clients and to storage.
Experience and Knowledge
- Undergraduate law degree (2:1);
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure;
- Interest in Real Estate Work;
- Excellent communication and IT skills;
- Previous good customer service/administration experience would be advantageous;
- Reliable.
