What to expect:
- Preparing, filing and reporting new trademark and design applications
- Attending to formalities requirements
- Drafting responses to objections and other responses before the relevant Registry
- Processing official documents (filing receipts, publication notices and registration certificates)
- Seeking renewal instructions from clients and attending to renewal of trade mark and design registrations before the relevant Registry
- Billing, records database and other administration duties relating to the aforesaid
A bit about you:
- Good academics
- Several years prior experience in trade mark formalities either gained in a law firm or patent/trade mark agency
- Experience using WebTMS database desirable
- Able to work without supervision and demonstrate initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and a good team player
- Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the clientβs business and be client-facing
- Completion of CITMA Introduction to Trade Mark Administration and Formalities Course (or a similar course) desirable
