How your graduate programme takes shape

Over the two-year programme, you’ll be based within our Management Accounting team, providing support to colleagues across the business while developing a broad understanding of management accounting within a professional services environment.

You’ll gradually build your expertise across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and stakeholder engagement, helping the firm make informed commercial decisions.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have developed the technical knowledge, business understanding and professional confidence needed to accelerate your career within finance.

How your graduate programme takes shape

What will you do?

Management reporting and month-end processes

You’ll support the preparation and delivery of financial information that helps leaders understand business performance and make informed decisions.

This could include:

  • Assisting with month-end and year-end management accounting processes
  • Preparing management reports and supporting reconciliations
  • Reviewing financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Supporting reporting deadlines and key finance deliverables

Budgeting and forecasting

Strong financial planning is essential to business success.

You’ll gain experience by:

Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts

  • Gathering and validating financial information from teams across the business
  • Analysing variances between actual and forecast performance
  • Helping identify trends, risks and opportunities

Financial analysis and commercial insight

You’ll learn how finance professionals transform data into meaningful business insights.

You’ll:

  • Analyse financial performance and key business drivers
  • Prepare reports and commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Support decision‑making through clear analysis and recommendations

Business partnering

Successful finance teams work closely with colleagues across the business.

You’ll have opportunities to:

Systems, technology and continuous improvement

  • Use finance systems, Excel and reporting tools
