Join Fieldfisher as a Legal Review Manager! We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our growing eDiscovery and Document Review team within Condor, Fieldfisher LLP's legal service business. This is a senior legal delivery role responsible for managing complex document review and disclosure projects across a wide range of contentious, regulatory and data protection matters.

The successful candidate will combine strong legal judgment with practical experience managing review teams, providing technical guidance on difficult review decisions and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, defensible outcomes for clients. Working closely with Fieldfisher partners and associates, the Legal Review Manager will oversee review projects involving commercial litigation, arbitration, investigations, public inquiries and Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs). You will project manage the reviews and serve as the primary escalation point for complex questions relating to privilege, confidentiality, disclosure obligations, personal data, regulatory exemptions and redaction decisions.

The successful candidate will work with Condor's eDiscovery and technology teams to design and optimize review workflows, leverage advanced review techniques and support the adoption of AI-assisted review methodologies. This is an opportunity to help shape and grow a market leading managed review capability within an international law firm, supporting some of Fieldfisher's most significant disputes, investigations and data-related engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead document review and disclosure projects in response to DSARs and across litigation, arbitration, investigations, public inquiry and regulatory matters.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex review decisions involving privilege, confidentiality, personal data, disclosure obligations and applicable exemptions.
  • Develop review strategies, protocols and guidance to ensure consistent, high-quality and legally defensible review outcomes.
  • Supervise and support teams of solicitors, paralegals and document reviewers, providing technical guidance, training and quality assurance and undertaking first level review when needed.
  • Opportunity to work on other Condor projects including contract review, contract negotiation and contract remediation.

Skills & Experience (Preferred)

  • Experience using eDiscovery platforms such as Everlaw or Relativity.
  • Prior involvement in DSAR reviews and/or data privacy matters.
  • Familiarity with document review workflows in legal or regulatory contexts.

Essential Requirements

  • Law degree (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a law firm or similar professional environment in a document review capacity.
  • Strong interest in, and aptitude for, legal technology.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
