Overview
Fieldfisher are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Reporting Analyst for a challenging role within the Finance Systems Team to support our firm’s operational, financial, and practice management reporting needs. It will involve collaborating closely with Finance, IT, and Practice Groups to enhance system reporting capabilities & support informed decision-making at all stakeholder levels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of reporting solutions to ensure accuracy, transparency and efficiency across Fieldfisher.
Responsibilities
- Extracting and interpreting data from our legal practice finance management systems
- Designing & controlling Power BI financial dashboards for business stakeholders
- Ensuring business data integrity
- Drive a reporting suite rationalisation project
- Provide day-to-day user support for reporting issues
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, audit standards and data governance
Experience and Knowledge
- Legal finance experience or professional services preferred
- Solid understanding of legal-sector workflows
- Understanding of D365 F&O finance data structures & BYOD data entities
- Strong analytical & technical capability & experience with data warehouse
- Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and meaningful way
- Background in finance with good understanding of financial end to end processes
- Working knowledge of a leading practice management system (Elite, Aderant) or ERP (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) advantageous
- Experience in the design & creation of complex Power BI report writing to deliver a robust set of reports
- Competent in problem solving arising report problems
- Troubleshooting integration issues
- Highly motivated with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Personable, confident & able to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Adaptable and flexible approach
- Pro-active & comfortable owning tasks through to completion
