Fieldfisher's Client Onboarding Graduate Programme is an exciting opportunity for ambitious, curious and motivated graduates who are interested in building a career in Risk and Compliance. Starting on Tuesday 1 September 2026, you will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team at the heart of the firm's operations. As a Graduate Onboarding Officer, you will gain hands-on experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, developing a strong foundation in client due diligence and regulatory compliance. You will also build your understanding of key risk factors, including international sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and negative news, enabling you to contribute to well-rounded and informed risk assessments.
About the programme: This two-year programme is designed to support your professional development from day one. You will strengthen your communication and organisational skills, learn to manage your workload effectively, and build confidence working with colleagues at all levels of the firm, including senior stakeholders. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of work, clients and practice areas across an international law firm - from supporting individual clients to working on matters involving global organisations. This breadth of experience will give you a strong understanding of how a European law firm operates and how risk and compliance underpin every aspect of our work.
Working within the Risk team, you will develop valuable research and analytical skills, learning how to identify and assess potential risks early and contribute to protecting both our clients and the firm. You will begin your journey with a two-week Early Careers induction, giving you the opportunity to connect with your fellow Graduates, Trainees and Apprentices. During this time, you will spend time in our London office, take part in networking opportunities, and enjoy a range of social events designed to help you settle into the firm, build relationships, and feel part of the community from day one.
