Condor Resourcing is the ‘people’ resource of Fieldfisher Condor's suite of solutions. We address a need when organisations find their in-house legal resources stretched, or there is a need for a lawyer with specific technical skills for a task or project. We support Legal Consultants who are looking for a varied and flexible career, without sacrificing on quality of work, all with the support of a European law firm. We are currently seeking a New York-qualified lawyer to support a specific client project, expected to run for approximately six months, with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on complex corporate transactions in accordance with New York law and relevant US federal and state regulatory frameworks
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Shareholders’ Agreements (SHAs), including those involving joint venture structures
  • Providing commercially focused legal advice to support strategic business decisions
  • Managing and negotiating a range of corporate and commercial contracts
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-border teams and stakeholders

Key Requirements

  • New York qualified lawyer with significant post-qualification experience (5+ years)
  • Substantial, hands-on expertise in New York corporate and contract law
  • Deep experience in complex corporate transactions under US legal frameworks
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating SHAs, including joint ventures
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate in fast-moving, international environments
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
