We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, managing a class team, and supporting the pastoral needs of students. This role involves implementing the school’s ethos and educational programmes, tracking student progress, and leading annual reviews in collaboration with external agencies.
Welcoming applications from teachers with experience in secondary-level English or Maths, as well as those with substantial primary teaching experience. This School is a non-maintained special school and part of an Organisation that has services across England and Wales supporting adults and children in residential and educational environments. Catering for students with neurological motor impairment such as Cerebral Palsy and associated medical and sensory needs, following the Conductive Education approach, focusing on the holistic development of everyone, including their physical and communication skills.
This provision is for secondary aged students with special educational needs including speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC). This provision consists of 4 year groups and we are looking for teachers to work across all year groups but predominantly in Year 8 and Year 10. This is a growing provision and you have the opportunity to support and deliver in the growth of this provision.

Facilities include woodland and outdoor classroom space, high specification sensory room, and swimming pool. About The Role of SEND Teacher
- Start Date: January 2026 (early start possible)
- Salary: £32,916 (M1) – £51,048 (U3), dependent on experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.50–8.00 hours per day
- Contract: Term Time Only (39 weeks)
Requirements of SEND Teacher
- 1+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND ASC SLCN
- Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
- Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
- Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment including OFSTED
