We have an Organisation looking to set up there first home in Fallowfield Manchester, a 5 Bed accommodation supporting up to 3
8- to18 year olds with EBD SEMH and challenging behaviour.
The group are passionate about Children\’s care, they are looking to build a therapeutic and safe environment for their children and young people. There will be full support given to the new Registered Manager by the Directors and RI.
We are looking for a dynamic leader – someone who is tenacious and passionate, with the ability to connect with those they meet and build meaningful and productive working relationships.

Registered Manager Salary and Benefits
* Competitive annual salary £50-£60k
* Registration Bonus £5k

Registered Manager Skills and abilities
* Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard.
* Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies.
* Ability to solve problems.
* Able to work within the principles of the Children’s Act.
* Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures.
* Sound knowledge of Children’s Homes procedures and relevant issues.
* Ability to exercise authority.
* Proven leadership and management abilities.
* Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written.
Registered Manager knowledge and experience. xiskglj
* At least 1 year working experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Registered Children’s Home where the rating of their home is good to outstanding
* A minimum of two years’ experience at senior level in a Children’s Home.
* Experience working with Children who have Mental Health, Emotional & Behavioural difficulties
* Have a very good understanding of the children’s homes regulations and quality standards, 2015
* Have good knowledge and experience working as a designated safeguarding lead in children’s residential home (s)
Registered Manager qualifications
* The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or you are willing to work towards this) Or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway) combined with a Leadership and Management Qualification
