We are looking for a Childrens Home Manager to join our new 3 bed service in Redbridge supporting 8-18 year olds with EBD.
You will have been a Registered Manager for at least one year, have high standards and worked within a home either Good or Outstanding.
This Organisation will offer full support from Directors and Responsible Individual
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard.
- Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Able to work within the principles of the Childrens Act.
- Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures.
- Sound knowledge of Childrens Homes procedures and relevant issues.
- Ability to exercise authority.
- Proven leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Knowledge and Experience.
- At least 1 year working experience as a Registered Manager in a Registered Childrens Home where the rating of their home is good to outstanding
- A minimum of two years experience at senior support level in a Childrens Home.
