Residential Senior Support Workers required for Children's Home in Chorley Lancashire PR7 We are looking for Senior Support Workers for a 3 Bed home supporting 8-18s with EBD SEMH and challenging behaviour. Your next exciting challenge awaits Senior Support Worker salary Senior Support Workers £16 per hour + £65 per sleep (must be qualified and a driver) You will be expected to sleep in after some of your shifts £33000 - £40000 Senior Support Worker Duties include • Supporting and managing the staff team to meet the needs of the young person • Planning each shift and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately • Working with external professionals to deliver positive outcomes • Providing supervision and support to staff in line with Quality Standards • Supporting the young person to engage in education • Ensuring their health needs are met • Providing advice, support and guidance • Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention • Administering and recording medication • Maintaining daily records and administrative work • Contributing to the care planning process • Liaising with external stakeholders and our multidisciplinary team • Attending mandatory training • Engaging in team meetings • Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc.) Senior Support Worker Requirements Please note applicants MUST meet the following requirements; * Able to work Full time * A full UK driving license ( preferred ) * Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship) * An understanding that this role will require that you undertake Enhanced DBS checks * You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children.
