Need some extra income but can’t commit to permanent hours? Work for us on a casual basis. Enjoy having the flexibility to work casually, shifts will be offered as and when they arise. You can choose to accept or decline shifts based on your availability. You’ll be paid circa £12.71 per hour worked.

Established in 1943, our network of Learning Locations provide day and residential courses for all ages, from young children to retired adults, from schools and communities throughout the UK, reaching many others through our publications and community-based programmes.
As one of our Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistants, you’ll be responsible for keeping our visitor spaces clean, tidy, and ready for guests. This includes:
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
- Preparing rooms for guests, including making beds, providing towels, and restocking tea/coffee facilities
- Ensuring public areas such as corridors and classrooms are neat, tidy, and well-presented
- Setting up the dining room for meals
- Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and service
- Keeping the dining, kitchen, and tea/coffee areas clean and stocked

Margam Discovery Centre isn’t your typical hospitality setting. Set within the 850‑acre Margam Park estate, it offers a peaceful mix of woodland, open grassland and historic scenery, all just minutes from the M4. It’s the kind of place where the day starts with wide views and a real sense of calm. The centre is an award‑winning, low‑carbon building designed by The Welsh School of Architects. Modern, bright and welcoming, it accommodates up to 140 guests and sits at the heart of a landscape made for exploring. It’s a scenic and uplifting place to work, surrounded by fresh air, natural beauty and the chance to help visitors enjoy a memorable stay.
