Join a supportive team this summer and help us create memorable stays for our visitors at Castle Head. Fixed term position due to start 27 April 2026 - 19 July 2026. Part time average 24 hours per week - weekly hours will vary, with more during busy periods and fewer in quieter weeks. Effective 1 April 2026 the full-time equivalent salary will be circa £25,281 per annum. This will equate to an hourly rate of £12.96.

What you’ll be doing
- Keeping our visitor spaces clean, tidy, and ready for guests.
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
- Preparing rooms for guests, including making beds, providing towels, and restocking tea/coffee facilities.
- Ensuring public areas such as corridors and classrooms are neat, tidy, and well-presented.
- Setting up the dining room for meals.
- Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and service.
- Keeping the dining, kitchen, and tea/coffee areas clean and stocked.

Surrounded by woodland, grassland, and riverside habitats, the centre accommodates up to 162 visitors and features lounges, a games room, campfire areas, classrooms, and a science lab—making it an inspiring place to work where nature and adventure are part of every day.
