You’ll be paid circa £12.21 per hour worked.

Established in 1943, our network of Learning Locations provide day and residential courses for all ages, from young children to retired adults, from schools and communities throughout the UK, reaching many others through our publications and community-based programmes.
What you’ll be doing
As one of our Casual Housekeeping Assistants, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our learning location is clean, welcoming, and ready for all our visitors. This includes:
Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public and staff areas
Preparing accommodation: making beds, replenishing towels, and tea/coffee facilities
Supporting our laundry operations, including operating washing and pressing machines
Reporting defects or maintenance needs
Keeping store areas safe, tidy and organised
Supporting other teams when needed, including catering, grounds and general maintenance

Where you’ll be based
The Field Studies Council Millport centre is situated on the Isle of Cumbrae in Scotland. It has state of the art purpose-built conference facilities, twin bedroom ensuite accommodation with sea views, plus 7 teaching spaces comprising classrooms and laboratories.
We host learners of all ages and backgrounds from nursery schools, primary and secondary schools, universities, adults, and research placements from all over the world.
