Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Perform inspections, testing, adjustments, and repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation of plant assets.
- Support fault finding and troubleshooting activities on operational equipment.
- Participate in emergency breakdown response and maintenance call-out activities.
- Produce and implement mechanical isolations in line with company procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximising asset reliability and operational performance.
- Support engineering and capital projects throughout planning, execution, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience maintaining and fault finding on industrial mechanical equipment.
- Recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and safe systems of work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
- Full UK driving licence.
