We are seeking an experienced Imaging Field Service Engineer for a global leading service provider. This role will be covering the London/Hertfordshire region with some occasional travel to other regions when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Onsite and remote troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repairs on medical imaging equipment (MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, CT).
- Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications or upgrades in certain time frames.
- Troubleshooting not only on a mechanical/electrical level but understand and troubleshoot on an application level.
- Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing their territory to provide efficient service support to all customers within an assigned area.
Essential Experience
- Three years’ work experience working on diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
Desirable Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Ability to travel on short notice and stay overnight.
