Salary: Β£100,000 - 140,000 per year
Requirements
- A track record of building or scaling a cyber security practice, ideally in an MSP, reseller or channel business.
- Genuinely commercial, comfortable owning numbers, pricing and margin, not just technology.
- Credible in front of clients and able to teach people who are not technical.
- An established network across UK cyber vendors and distributors.
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are welcome, but attitude and results are valued over acronyms.
- Energy, drive and ambition, with a desire to build rather than maintain.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, commercial model, partner ecosystem and team for the cyber security practice.
- Spend significant time in front of clients and working alongside salespeople to drive growth.
- Train and upskill the wider sales team so they can spot, qualify and open cyber conversations.
- Act as the expert on client calls and in bids, translating technical risk into commercial language.
- Work with marketing on propositions, collateral and campaigns that convert.
- Define the service portfolio, target markets and three-year growth plan for the practice.
- Keep us ahead of the threat landscape, regulation and market changes.
- Select, negotiate and manage vendor and distributor relationships.
- Own build-versus-buy decisions on tooling and platforms.
- Build pricing and packaging models with defensible margins.
