We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join Europe's leading commercial manufacturer of EV Charging Equipment where you would be supporting the performance and reliability of commercial EV charging infrastructure, with a particular focus on DC fast chargers. This role includes hands-on fault finding, responsive repairs, and delivering a robust planned preventative maintenance (PPM) program across commercial client sites. The role will be covering various sites across the UK, in between Manchester and Croydon. All suitable candidates must have their 18th edition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve faults on DC (rapid) and AC EV chargers (typically 22kW–150kW+) at commercial locations
  • Execute scheduled planned preventative maintenance including inspections, functional tests, firmware updates, and safety checks
  • Carry out commissioning related activity across the UK, producing the required commissioning paperwork and communicating directly with client, OEMs and contractors.
  • Respond to service tickets, identify root causes, and implement durable technical solutions

Essential Experience

  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Previous experience working in commercial or industrial environments
  • Flexible on travel and working away, potentially overnight

Desirable Experience

  • Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Experience with EV Charging equipment
  • Knowledge of network software (This could be CCTV, Fire Safety e.g)
