We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Field Service Engineer for a global leading service provider. This role will be covering the South West region with some occasional travel to other regions when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Onsite and remote troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repairs on medical equipment.
  • Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications or upgrades in certain time frames.
  • Troubleshooting not only on a mechanical/electrical level but understand and troubleshoot on an application level.
  • Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing their territory to provide efficient service support to all customers within an assigned area.

Essential Experience

  • Three years' work experience in the medical device or life sciences industries is preferred.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.

Desirable Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Ability to travel on short notice and stay overnight.
