Here at Field Sales Solutions, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Retail Tactical Account Manager. In return we offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus £6,000 Car Allowance and bonus and more. We are a leading field marketing company representing growing brands and companies in the UK.
Your principal duties will be to deliver client satisfaction through the delivery of KPIs and to ensure profitability of the tactical clients for which you are responsible. This will be achieved through the effective and efficient management of the field operation.
Responsibilities:- Overall accountability for the allocated tactical clients, delivering the revenue and gross profit targets.
- Line management of field managers and reps, including day-to-day support, to deliver client KPIs.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships.
- Adopts a leadership role, demonstrating strategic thinking and an able approach to the bigger picture.
- Share best practice and experience to drive change and evolution across the tactical team.
- Review performance against KPIs regularly with Head of Retail Tactical, make recommendations to improve performance and/or efficiency and implement agreed recommendations.
- Utilise internal resources effectively, ensuring clear briefs, achievable timescales, and that outputs meet or exceed client expectations.
- Agree any additional activity expenditure with the client in advance of incremental activity.
- With the Head of Retail Tactical, actively pursue incremental business development opportunities within your client base.
- Coordinate and motivate teams (field management and field teams) to deliver results and quality.
- Be adaptable to the needs of the business and its clients.
- Fully proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experienced multi-tasker.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Previous client relationship management experience, ideally in a tactical role.
- Experience working with a field sales team including management of remote sales teams.
- Experience of relevant UK markets: Symbols/Independents/Convenience/Grocers & On trade.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication at all levels face-to-face, via Teams, by telephone and in writing.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organisational skills.
