About this role
Higher Level Teaching Assistant 31 hours per week, Term Time only Pay Grade: G7 (point 22 to 27 - £32,654 to £37,035 pro rata to hours worked/term time)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with a range of special educational needs
- Assist in the implementation of IEP’s
- Support pupils with classroom activities
- Encourage and help develop independence, self-confidence, and social skills
- Monitor and track the progress of children
We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
- A caring and flexible approach to working with children
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about SEN and how to support children with diverse needs
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
