About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based service in Reigate, Surrey. The person needs to have enthusiasm for bikes and outdoor activities. We support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently within their own homes or with family. Our support workers spend meaningful time with the people they support, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of what we do, as the connection between a client and their support worker is key to achieving positive outcomes. This is a rewarding opportunity to empower individuals to live full, independent lives while receiving the care and accommodation they need within their local community.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
  • Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
  • Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development.

What we’re looking for

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
  • Ideally, 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • A caring, empathetic, and non‑judgemental attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to remain calm, cheerful, and professional in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to high standards and person‑centred support.
  • Full Driving Licence and use of own vehicle.
