About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks safely and efficiently, while also supporting general warehouse operations as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences/certificates
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures, proven adherence to H&S procedures in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Putting stock away and replenishing pick locations
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Conducting stock checks and inventory counts
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
