We are looking for an Engineering Manager that is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. You will be going into a business that will allow you to get things done! With the autonomy to make an immediate impact.
You will notice that there are a fair few opportunities to make some quick improvements; however, they are very much looking at a long-term prospect with development opportunities across different areas of the business. You will be managing a well-established and highly experienced engineering team that are needing a leader to support them. You will need to coach, mentor and help the engineering team when required.
The engineering planned maintenance system also needs implementing, so experience in delivering new planned maintenance programs would be an advantage. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for planning maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency. Alongside this, you will ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and legislation.
The business has made significant changes over the last 18 months, so you are joining a company that is forward-thinking and wants to achieve great things. Continuous improvements and project work are the key areas that the business is investing in.
