Are you looking for a position that will give you exposure to new technology and develop your skillset? Then look no further, we are looking to speak to Engineers who are wanting to take a step in the world of manufacturing. This opportunity will be a weekend-based role that will be purely focused on Planned Preventative Maintenance. This will be focused on ensuring that production machinery operates smoothly, and machine downtime is at a minimum. Key Responsibilities: * Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, processing equipment, and packaging machinery, automated baggers, robotics etc. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing equipment performance and reliability. * Adhering to strict food safety and quality standards, always ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. * Contributing to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to support long-term operational goals. Requirements: * Mechanical engineering experience. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. * Understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment. Working in such a fast-paced environment, you must have experience working within the food industry or FMCG. You will need to be able to hit the ground running and get stuck in. Ideally, we are looking to speak to engineers with an NVQ level 3. This role is a great opportunity to upskill and develop.
