Your mission: You'll be the key driver in expanding our client portfolio in the UK. You will collaborate with the case managers and underwriters to successfully grow our UK business by managing client relationships, developing new distribution partners and converting loan applications into loan closings. You will report directly to the Head of Origination in the UK and will have your own client coverage area.
Specific Responsibilities: Your main responsibility is to originate and manage development applications, which includes:
- Originating finance opportunities across the UK;
- Acting as a point of contact for the market and representing the business externally;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, developers and introducers;
- Acting as the primary point of contact for borrowers and intermediaries throughout the transaction lifecycle;
- Identifying gaps and opportunities in the market and positioning our development finance offering;
- Assessing new opportunities at a high level;
- Working closely with underwriters to structure transactions appropriately;
- Assisting with PR and marketing including promoting our development finance offering, attending events and engaging directly with brokers and developers.
About you: At least two years of industry experience; Enjoy working in an international environment; Academic degree (bachelors/master) with excellent track record; Excellent verbal and written skills in English; Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions in an international environment; Outstanding organisational skills; You are critical, pragmatic, proactive: a hands-on problem solver with a can-do attitude; Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines; Team player; Hungry to learn and push your boundaries in a growing company.
