The role

As a Probate Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients through what can often be one of the most difficult periods of their lives. Working as part of our supportive and collaborative Probate team, you’ll provide a high level of skilled administrative and client support, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently, accurately, and with genuine care and empathy throughout. This is a varied role where organisation, attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. You’ll work closely with colleagues, clients, beneficiaries and external organisations to help ensure each matter progresses smoothly and clients feel informed and reassured at every stage.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Corresponding with beneficiaries, financial institutions and other third parties to obtain accurate information and progress matters efficiently
  • Supporting clients by providing clear, practical and empathetic guidance via telephone, email and in person
  • Drafting detailed legal documentation, statements, estate accounts and probate-related applications
  • Managing and progressing a varied workload, ensuring deadlines and priorities are effectively managed
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Probate team to ensure matters are handled accurately and professionally
  • Providing a high standard of client care and communication throughout the administration process
  • Supporting the smooth progression of cases by maintaining organised and accurate records using case management systems

Experience within Probate or Private Client work is advantageous, but equally important is the right attitude, empathy and willingness to learn and develop within the role. This role will be based at our Regent Street office in Mansfield town centre.
