Final Duties is a growing specialist probate service owned by Fidler & Pepper Lawyers, a long-established legal business.

We are looking for an experienced Coordinator to join us at an early stage of that growth.

You will work alongside our existing Coordinator, helping us respond to more enquiries, improve the client journey and build a function that can grow with the business.

This is not an everyday Coordinator job as most of the people you speak to will have recently lost someone and may be overwhelmed by what they need to do next.

You will need to listen properly, explain things clearly and help them choose the service that is genuinely right for their circumstances.

You must be commercially confident, but never pushy.

What you will do

Initially, you will

  • Respond to new enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Manage quotes, follow-up and outstanding actions.
  • Keep accurate records within Hub Spot.
  • Make sure clients receive a prompt and supportive service.
  • Learn our Grant Only and Full Administration services.
  • Work closely with our existing Coordinator and Probate team.

As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will

  • Conduct initial client consultations.
  • Understand the estate and identify the appropriate service.
  • Explain options and fees clearly.
  • Manage Grant Only quotes from enquiry through to instruction.
  • Qualify and progress Full Administration opportunities for the closing call.
  • Help improve our scripts, systems and advisory process.

All enquiries are inbound. This is not a cold-calling role.

About you

You will have

  • A strong record in telephone-based, consultative or advisory sales, normally gained over at least three years.
  • The ability to build trust quickly and handle sensitive conversations with empathy.
  • Good judgement and the confidence to recommend the right option for the client.
  • Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
  • Experience working towards conversion or revenue targets.
  • Confidence using CRM systems and managing several active enquiries.
  • The resilience to deal with grief, emotion and occasionally difficult conversations.

Experience in probate, bereavement services, legal services or supporting vulnerable customers would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Full probate training will be provided.

What we offer

  • A strong base salary and non contractual bonus scheme
  • A structured three-month training and ramp-up period.
  • Warm inbound enquiries rather than cold calling.
  • Hybrid and flexible working options available
  • The backing and stability of a long-established legal business.
  • Genuine opportunity to progress as Final Duties grows.
  • Inclusion matters

At Fidler & Pepper, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.

We celebrate individuality, support personal growth, and create an environment where everyone can bring their best self to work.
