This isn't just a job—it's a career with purpose. You'll be helping clients plan for the future by preparing Wills, POAs & Trusts that reflect their wishes. Your expertise will ensure documents are clear, precise and tailored to each client's needs.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and conducting client appointments, including face‐to‐face meetings, video calls via Zoom/Teams/FaceTime, and home visits where required
- Gathering client instructions and accurately recording information for the preparation of Wills, POAs and Trust documentation
- Drafting Wills ranging from basic and mirror Wills to more complex arrangements, including property trusts, exclusion clauses, and Wills involving multiple beneficiaries
- Advising clients on suitable estate planning solutions, including Wills, POAs and Trusts
- Preparing and processing POA applications in line with current legal requirements
- Reviewing and approving documentation prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Managing cases effectively to ensure documents are completed within agreed timeframes
- Maintaining excellent client relationships through clear communication and professional service
- Previous experience as a Will Writer or Wills, POAs and Trusts Advisor
- Ability to review and approve documents drafted by less experienced team members
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent time‐management skills to ensure deadlines and turnaround times are met
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner, with a friendly and approachable attitude to create a great first impression
- High attention to detail
- A team player who values collaboration and enjoys supporting colleagues
- Good IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate our Case Management System
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workload efficiently
- A full UK driving licence is required
