With the aim of strengthening our Team in the United Kingdom, we are recruiting a Key Account Manager – Eye Care - South East Area / Scotland and Northern Ireland / North West Area. The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving growth of Fidia’s Ophthalmology portfolio through strategic account management, data‑driven customer prioritization, and effective engagement plans that deliver clear value and support sustained sales performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of tailored account plans, ensuring high‑quality delivery against agreed objectives.
- Conduct all customer engagements in full compliance with internal SOPs and the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Achieve and exceed sales and market share targets across the assigned territory.
- Continuously review performance metrics and adapt activities based on insights and stakeholder feedback.
- Demonstrate strong personal ownership in delivering and surpassing individual targets.
- Proactively identify future needs, emerging opportunities, and value‑adding initiatives within key accounts.
- Gather and analyze customer and account insights, ensuring accurate CRM profiling to guide activity planning.
- Develop robust territory account plans aligned with brand strategy, grounded in environmental, market, and customer data.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to build long‑term customer partnerships and deliver both strategic and short-term business goals.
- Monitor NHS and private‑sector developments, ensuring optimal access to Fidia medicines and devices by understanding pathways of care and engaging key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree‑level education or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong understanding of the NHS landscape (including devolved nations), healthcare systems, priorities, and private‑sector pathways.
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical account management with demonstrated sales success.
- Experience in Ophthalmology is highly advantageous.
- Skilled in business planning, including the creation and presentation of compelling business proposals.
- Confidence using digital tools, CRM systems, and virtual communication platforms.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional environments.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity with an entrepreneurial, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical capabilities with confidence working across various data sources.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and plan effectively.
Our offer:
- Open ended contract.
- Salary between £55,000 – £65,000.
