Fidenda are looking for Anaplan Consultants to join their UK team and work on our exciting projects. We are a growing scale-up EPM consulting company with a special focus on Anaplan. Being the size we are, we can offer a unique opportunity to our consultants: we have a culture of excellence so you will be working as part of a high performing team. It is on this basis that we win our projects and so it is no coincidence that we pick up complex and diverse projects. We are the right place to be if you are looking for a challenge and to extend your comfort zone.

We do not just implement Anaplan; we work with customers from an early stage to set up transformative programmes, underpinned by Anaplan technology. Our consultants are involved in those early engagements and continually build on their advisory and consulting skills. We are a close-knit team, we support each other, and everyone’s voice is heard.

Are you the right person to help us at this critical point in our growth, where we are continuing to scale up our Anaplan practice? You understand that the key to our success as a project-based business is meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations and keeping to budgets and timelines. You quickly build up trust with a customer when we are pitching for work. You use your experience to define a scope, approach, estimate and plan that delivers on a customer’s business objectives.

You instinctively understand what it takes to deliver a project successfully. Regardless of the role you take on a project, you focus on working as an effective partner with the customer, challenging where necessary, and ensuring success. You find purpose in the technology we use. You are either already a Master Anaplanner or aspire to get there, and you keep on top of the latest platform developments and best practices. You look for opportunities to expand your technical knowledge beyond Anaplan into related areas, such as middleware, data warehousing, programming. You are interested in or have experience of competing EPM technologies. You will not rest until you have found an elegant technical solution to a complex business problem. When you encounter technical obstacles, you work quickly and tirelessly around them.

You know that domain expertise is essential to doing a good job for our customers. You have deep experience in at least one of the key business functions that Anaplan addresses (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Sales Operations) as well as a few industries. More importantly, you actively look out for opportunities to broaden that knowledge to new functions and industries, and your aim is to have a wide knowledge of all areas to support the Connected Planning vision.

You will be able to show:

  • You have the depth of experience gained over several Anaplan implementations to deliver excellent technical solutions. If you’ve recently cross-trained from another EPM tool, then that’s also great experience.
  • Deep domain knowledge in either Finance, Supply Chain, or another major line of business.
  • An ability to bring industry-specific experience to bear, and to easily conceptualise likely challenges in industries where you do not have experience.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills, with experience of leading senior stakeholders on a complex and ambiguous journey.
  • A strong commercial awareness with experience of setting up and delivering projects on time and budget, and to quality.
  • Evidence of self-motivation, a sense of responsibility, and a dedication to the pursuit of excellence.

Finally, you have the right mindset to thrive in our environment, where we are often placed outside our comfort zone. You are confident in your communication and presentation skills and relish the opportunity to engage at a senior level with our customers. You see in ambiguous business issues the opportunity to devise a structured approach that brings order to chaos. When confronted with complexity or novelty, you are not phased and face them with a methodological and diligent approach. You take pride in your work and having done a great job for your customer. You are not afraid to scratch beneath the surface and challenge conventional thinking, with the humility to also challenge yourself.
