Overview
In this role you provide on-site operational support to the Fixed Income UK trading desk in London, ensuring the integrity of trading operations and serving as a key liaison for the investment team and business partners. You act as the gateway for UK operations, lead issue resolution, and help align processes with policies while supporting UK initiatives. You will build strong internal and external relationships and may evolve toward cross-asset oversight. You drive efficient, compliant trading operations within Fidelity’s Fixed Income franchise.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site operational support for the Fixed Income UK trading desk
- Act as single point-of-contact for the UK investment team and business partners
- Ensure procedures adhere to established policies and procedures
- Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Participate in UK-related initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Key requirements
- 6+ years in global operations teams or related experience
- University degree required
- Domain expertise in financial services back, middle, or front office operations or technology
- Broad-based investment industry experience with operational oversight and regulatory considerations
- Strong relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with attention to detail
